Hi there.

 

My name is Garrett. I’m a storyteller, an artist, an educator, and a general creative weirdo who is duct-taping this whole World of Mythmatica thing together. I’m here to try something different.

 

In a nutshell, the purpose of the World of Mythmatica is to share stories that show abstract concepts related to numbers and their operations as memorable characters and stories.

 

This is not designed for educators, or for even all learners. Rather, this is designed for a certain kind of learner-the kind of learner who wants to read about counters and operations brought to life in a chaotic cartoon world. It is not intended for learners under twelve, because I didn’t make this for them. I didn’t make this for everyone. But maybe I am making it for you.

 

At this time, it is being designed as a comic magazine with each issue designed to cover a major concept from PreAlgebra, Geometry, and Algebra I and II. I hope that my weird cartoon-soaked fever dream of an instructional aid finds the learners who need it.
